Problem

To prevent oil from flowing into the environment when the water is pumped out of a sealed bath, an automatic solution is being searched to identify the inclusion of oil in the water as well as the water level in the tub. Link to the challenge.

Possible solution

There could be many possible ways to solve the problem e.g. fluorescent light, camera filters, laser, etc. After a long discussion, we decided to stop on the most feasible and easy one. The solution looks as follows:
