Thankfully, there are many recycling banks in our city, where residents can deposit glass, metal and oil. These containers are collected and emptied regularly. Could we optimise the collection process if we knew when a container needed to be emptied? That would allow us to plan an efficient and cost-saving collection route, and also increase the frequency of collection for those containers that fill up more often.
